Hello Blog Friends~
Are you are as busy as I am? It seems like the hurrier I go the farther I get behind. That means we are alive and that is a very good thing. I am celebrating that today for sure.
Yesterday~ I woke up and drove my baby girl to Kansas City because we had been told by her doctor some scary could be cancer news. This momma has been stewing for a couple of weeks now. I have been praying and placing it in God's hands but the hot rocks have been churning in my inner being. I know all you mommas know what I am talking about.
My Hannah has handled the deployment of her new husband like a true Military Wife. They have missed their first Thanksgiving, Christmas and soon to be their first Anniversary. Not once has this girl complained~ not once!
She knows the love of her life is in harm's way each and every day. Then to face this just seemed like to this momma that maybe God was asking too much. So I questioned and fussed with God. I know it is not right to question God ~ but I did it anyway!
I snapped this picture right before Jacob left.
When I woke up yesterday I just did not want to get out of bed and put one foot in front of the other. I did not want to face the day. I have had many days like that in my life and I know you have too.
This time ~ I am so very thankful it was a false alarm. Hannah is going to be fine and all is well. But I know some of you reading this today are facing the other outcome.
You know God never promised us that life would be all sunshine and roses. I wish it were so but it is just not the case. Yet ~ after all the mountaintop experiences and the darkest of valley times that life has brought me I can boldly say, " No matter what happens God and I can handle it together."
When we walk with God ~ He will get us to the other side. He can carry our burdens~ our heartaches ~ our disappointments and everything else that life may throw at us.
Sometimes~ life takes a little courage. We have to use a little mind over matter. It is difficult but this is where the rubber meets the road. Do we really have faith in our God in Heaven whom we say we trust~ whom we say we serve~ whom we say we love? Do we stand with courage or do we fall apart when the world comes crashing down as those that have no faith?
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Joshua 1:3-9
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

I am not sure if you are having a sunshine and roses kind of day or you have hot rocks churning. Either way~ I am here to tell you that God can and will help you handle life today. You just have to turn it all over to Him.
I would love to hear from you. If you have a prayer request ~ I would love to pray with you and for you.
Have a blessed day~
