I have to admit one of the things I pray all the time is~ "Lord please be with me today." It really is such a silly thing to pray. Why?
Joshua 1:5
There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Once I accepted what Jesus did for me on the cross and received Him as my Lord and Saviour He came into my heart and dwells within me. I am His own! God promised me at that moment that He would never leave me or forsake me. Just as God made this promise to Joshua just before he entered the Promise Land.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
In both of these verses we see that God gives the power to carry out His plan for our lives.
Maybe today it would be better if we thanked the Lord for His indwelling spirit that directs and guides us in the path that God chooses for us to go! After all He has already promised to never leave us or forsake us.

I have been at my church for all most 40 years. We are busting at the seams and we have just bought a new big~ building. It is going to be beautiful. I am in charge of painting the Nursery Rooms. We have four with a small drop off room.
My plan is to paint a focal wall in each room as a storefront. One room will be a Sweet Shop ~as in candy. I will then paint cute candy jars and different things all around the room. I have picture ideas that are so cute but because of copyrights I don't want to share. As I paint he walls I will post pictures. In the drop of area I will do trees with birds~ kind of trendy art. The other rooms will have an Ice Cream Parlor with cute ice cream cones and table and chairs painted around the room. One room will be a Bakery and and will be a Fudge Shop. I need scripture verses to put around the rooms that would go along with the themes.
Any ideas?
