Hello Blog Friends~
Here is our new Home Sweet Home. The move is behind us and we are getting settled. The boxes are all unpacked but I am still trying to decide what should go where. As you can see ~ I have the most amazing front porch and I am loving it!
"It's time to move on" ~ has been our saying this summer. God doesn't want us to look back but instead to focus on what's before us. He has great plans for our lives and wants us to rise up to our full potential. He has called each of us to do mighty things.
I will not lie. During this time of selling our retirement home~ being homeless for a spell~ and at the last moment finding our new home I felt afraid, panicked and lost. But~ GOD can and will make a way even when we feel lost. When we can't see the plan He still has one and we can need to trust Him.
As you can see ~my new home is just beautiful. And truly it is going to be a much better fit for where we are as a couple in life. Even though I stomped my feet and threw a little spiritual fit God was still working out all things for my good.
Even so much more in our spiritual walk~ we can't be staying where we are or always looking back. God wants us to keep moving and growing so that we can be all He wants us to be and accomplish the plans He has for us to accomplish. Yes~ at times it may be hard but it is the only way we can get where we are going and grow in His grace. Oh~ God is so good!
Isaiah 43:18-19
King James Version (KJV)
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
