Better Than Chocolate~

Where have I been?
Well let me tell you~ life has been better than chocolate lately.
I have been loving on these grandbabies.

 Planting the garden~
Dreaming of tomato and cucumber salads.
Watching the hydrangeas grow.
Smooching on these two~ Pixie Girl and her Papa.
Planning new peach recipes.
Did I ever mention that I love Raspberries?~
Yes, my Brian has my raspberry bushes growing to high Heaven~ well almost.
I just love that man!
 Caring for temperamental  chickens.
I have eleven dozen eggs in my fridge ~ eggs anyone?
Finishing up the school year.~ I hate Science.
But I love the Creator of Science~does that count?
Getting ready to make grape jelly~yummy!
The grape vines are covered with little clusters.
 Watering the flowers.
Dishes~ always doing dishes~ such an never ending job.
I am thankful for the mouths I get to feed.

I found some interesting pictures on my computer.
Gypsy girl turned in for an assignment of a life and day of her momma.
Nice Hannah~

Is there any more of a reason to celebrate the simple ~
 ordinary days of our life?

Revelation 21:3

King James Version (KJV)
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,
Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Well maybe the fact that the Almighty God of the universe dwells with us. I don't know about you but I really need Him to not only dwell with me~ walk and talk with me~ but I just plain out need Him to lead me each and every step of the way through this journey we call life. I mean I need Him more than chocolate.

This morning as I flip-flopped out in the grass to peek at my garden~ I was in awe of the beauty God created for me and you to enjoy. The mist over the pond, the fruit growing on the trees, the garden growing~the sparkles of the sun coming up. Beauty is all around us~ let it refresh you and restore you. Remember it is the simple things that make this life enjoyable.

Grazing on beautiful things acts on my soul,
which thirsts for heavenly light.- Micelangelo
